Third Party Delivery Analyst Subway

The Third-Party Delivery Analyst for Subway is responsible for managing, analysing, and improving business performance across third-party delivery platforms such as food delivery aggregators and external delivery partners. This role helps ensure that Subway restaurants provide a consistent, accurate, and efficient delivery experience while supporting sales growth and operational excellence.

The analyst works closely with internal operations teams, franchise partners, marketing teams, technology teams, finance teams, and third-party delivery providers to monitor platform performance, resolve issues, identify improvement opportunities, and turn delivery data into actionable business insights.

Purpose of the Role

The main purpose of this position is to ensure that Subways third-party delivery business runs efficiently, delivers a positive customer experience, and contributes to overall sales growth. The analyst helps the business make data-driven decisions by turning delivery platform data into meaningful insights and practical actions.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly performance across third-party delivery platforms.
- Analyze order volume, sales, cancellations, refunds, delivery delays, rejected orders, customer ratings, and store availability.
- Prepare dashboards, scorecards, and performance reports for internal stakeholders and franchise partners.
- Identify underperforming stores, markets, delivery partners, or operational processes and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with delivery platforms to resolve order, menu, pricing, promotion, payout, and availability-related issues.
- Support franchisees with insights on delivery performance and help improve store-level execution.




- Review customer complaints and feedback trends to identify recurring service gaps.
- Support accurate menu setup, pricing, product availability, images, and promotional offers across delivery platforms.
- Track promotional campaign performance and evaluate the impact on sales, order growth, and profitability.
- Investigate discrepancies in sales, commissions, refunds, payouts, and delivery partner invoices.
- Support process improvements aimed at increasing delivery revenue, reducing cancellations, and improving customer experience.

Skills and Requirements

- Analytical skills: Ability to interpret sales, order, customer experience, and operational data to identify trends, risks, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
- Reporting and dashboarding: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas.
- Data accuracy and attention to detail: Ability to validate large data sets, identify inconsistencies, and maintain accurate records for menu setup, pricing, payouts, commissions, refunds, and platform performance.
- Food delivery platform knowledge: Understanding of third-party delivery aggregators, online ordering workflows, store availability, delivery radius, menu management, promotions, cancellations, refunds, and customer ratings.
- Restaurant operations understanding: Knowledge of store-level operations such as order acceptance, preparation time, packaging, product availability, fulfilment accuracy, and customer service standards.
- Problem-solving ability: Ability to investigate operational and financial issues, determine root causes, recommend corrective actions, and follow through until resolution.
- Stakeholder management:



Ability to work effectively with franchisees, operations teams, marketing teams, finance teams, technology teams, and third-party delivery partner account managers.
- Communication skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Commercial awareness: Understanding of how delivery sales, commissions, promotions, refunds, cancellations, and service levels affect revenue and profitability.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Analytics, Commerce, Hospitality, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in business analysis, operations analysis, sales analysis, e-commerce, food delivery, restaurant operations, or aggregator platform management is preferred.
- Prior experience working with restaurant brands, QSR businesses, franchise operations, or third-party delivery platforms is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
- Experience preparing performance reports, dashboards, issue trackers, scorecards, or business review presentations.
- Ability to analyze financial and operational data, including sales performance, commissions, refunds, payouts, and campaign results.
- Strong coordination skills with the ability to work with internal departments, external partners, and franchise stakeholders.
- Good understanding of customer experience metrics, complaints analysis, and service-level improvement would be beneficial.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy while handling multiple platforms and data sources.
