Responsibilities

Safety Management & Compliance

- Implement and monitor plant safety policies in line with statutory and corporate HSE standards.
- Ensure compliance with Factories Act, State Safety Rules, Fire Safety, and local regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with government authorities, safety inspectors, and auditors.

Risk Assessment & Incident Management
- Conduct Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and safety audits.
- Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; drive corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain incident records and safety performance reports.

Training & Safety Awareness
- Conduct safety induction and regular training programs for employees and contractors.
- Promote safety awareness campaigns, mock drills,



fire drills, and emergency preparedness programs.
- Ensure contractor safety management and compliance at site.

Fire & Emergency Management
- Oversee fire detection, firefighting systems, and emergency evacuation plans.
- Coordinate with external fire departments and emergency response teams.
- Lead emergency response during incidents and drills.

Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain safety documentation, permits, MSDS, SOPs, and statutory registers.
- Prepare monthly safety reports, KPIs, and compliance dashboards for management review.
