Role & responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end procurement of essential raw materials for DI & LSAW of KSA pipe manufacturing operations, ensuring alignment with production targets and financial objectives.
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to drive cost competitiveness, strengthen supplier reliability, and mitigate supply risks.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives through effective negotiations, value engineering, alternate sourcing strategies, and long-term contracting.
- Ensure uninterrupted material availability by closely coordinating with production planning, inventory, and supply chain functions.
- Monitor and analyze commodity market trends, particularly in steel and polymers, to enable proactive and cost-efficient procurement decisions.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard current suppliers, ensuring adherence to capability, quality, and scalability requirements.
- Manage supplier relationships and performance through regular reviews, focusing on quality, delivery timelines, and commercial terms.




- Ensure all procured materials comply with technical specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with QA/QC and engineering teams to promptly address and resolve material quality issues and deviations.
- Optimize inventory levels and working capital by balancing material availability with cost efficiency.
- Lead contract management activities, including drafting, negotiation, and ensuring compliance with agreed commercial terms.
- Drive digital procurement initiatives by leveraging ERP/SAP systems, data analytics, and automation to enhance efficiency and transparency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and ethical sourcing practices.
- Prepare and present comprehensive procurement MIS reports, including cost savings, spend analysis, and supplier performance metrics.
