Education & Experience
- Qualification: Diploma in Chemical Engineering
- Experience: 0-3 years; minimum 1-year experience with fixed bed catalyst testing unit preferred. Freshers may be considered if experienced candidates are unavailable.
Job Objective
Support developmental projects related to catalysts and adsorbents.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate performance of developmental and commercial catalysts/adsorbent materials.
- Operate fixed bed catalyst/adsorbent test units and analyze reaction products using Gas Chromatographs.
- Maintain proper records of daily experimental work and report periodically to supervisor/stakeholders.
- Coordinate with concerned personnel for upkeep of analytical equipment, test units, and fixed bed reactors.
- Coordinate with team members and other departments for 24-hour operation of Reactor Unit.
- Willingness to work in shifts for reactor operation and monitoring.
Other Skills
- Hands-on work with minimal backup support expected after 36 months of training.
Specific Skills
- Knowledge of catalysis/process engineering is preferable.
- Comply with EHS (Setting / Health & Safety) guidelines.
- Participate in company initiatives such as 5S and IMS.
