Job Summary

Develop, implement, and maintain welding procedures and specifications in accordance with industry standards and project requirements.

Responsibilities

- Oversee and optimize welding processes, including SAW, FCAW, GTAW, GMAW, and other specialized techniques e.g. Panel Line welding stations (TTS Make).
- Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks to ensure weld integrity and compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with Design and Engineering teams to provide input on weldability of materials and design considerations.
- To coordinate with TPI / Class / Owners representative for workmen qualification and certification for specific project requirements.
- Train and mentor welding personnel on best practices, recent techniques, and safety protocols.
- Through understating of AWS D1.1, IACS W32, W33, W47, ASME Sec II, Sec IX , ASTM
- Preparing and qualifying PQRs, WPSs and WQTs for various materials and welding processes.
- Certified AWS CWI or CSWIP 3.1
- ASNT Level II/III in NDT techniques.
