Role Objective:
Design clear, scalable, modern and usable enterprise interfaces for complex cybersecurity products. The designer must turn technical information into understandable workflows and visual hierarchy without overwhelming users with decoration.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design end-to-end user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity screens, prototypes and interaction patterns.
- Design complex data-heavy interfaces including tables, filters, search, drill-downs, timelines, risk scores, charts, alerts and investigations.
- Create a strong information hierarchy so important data, risk, status and actions are immediately understandable.
- Maintain consistency through reusable components, patterns, spacing, typography, states and design-system documentation.
- Collaborate with Product and developers to understand requirements and implementation feasibility.
- Use product context and usability principles to improve workflows rather than relying only on visual styling.
- Create modern interfaces without excessive gradients, decorative animation, glassmorphism or visual noise.
Required Skills:
1. Design Tool - Strong Figma skills: components, variants, auto-layout, styles and prototyping.
2. UX - User flows, information architecture, interaction design, usability and wireframing.
3. UI - Typography, spacing, hierarchy, grids, responsive layouts and visual consistency.
4. Enterprise UX - Dashboards, tables, filters, workflows, permissions, alerts and reports.
5. Visualization - Selecting appropriate chart/visual patterns and presenting dense data clearly.
6. Design Systems - Reusable components, states, tokens/patterns and documentation.
7. Responsive - Desktop enterprise interfaces with responsive awareness.
8. Communication - Explain design decisions and collaborate with Product and Engineering.
Strongly Preferred Experience:
- 1-2+ years of professional UI-UX/product design experience.
- B2B SaaS, enterprise applications, dashboards, admin consoles, developer tools or technical product experience.
- Cybersecurity, networking, cloud, observability, SIEM, NDR, ASM or security operations exposure.
- Experience creating design systems and working with developers on reusable UI components.
- Basic understanding of React/CSS/frontend constraints is a plus.
Freshers / Junior Designer Criteria:
- Freshers considered only with a strong portfolio demonstrating actual problem-solving, not only attractive concept screens.
- Portfolio should include at least one end-to-end project with user flows, wireframes and high-fidelity screens with documented rationale.
- Robust academic/personal/internship projects with real interface thinking, not only visual exploration.
- Must understand user problems, not only design tools.
Core Candidate Expectations:
- Candidates must be able to explain what they built, why they built it, and their own contribution.
- Ownership: understand requirements, identify dependencies, raise blockers early, and follow work through completion.
- Reliable delivery: realistic estimation, progress visibility, attention to deadlines, and clear communication when work is at risk.
- Product mindset: understand the user/business problem instead of treating every task as an isolated ticket.
- Willingness to learn unfamiliar product and cybersecurity concepts.
- AI-assisted tools are acceptable, but generated output is not a substitute for fundamentals. Candidates must understand and defend their work.
