This role is responsible for conducting detailed analyses of plant equipment performance, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing solutions to drive operational excellence.
This role will also manage equipment budgets, ensure the reliability of instruments, and drive continuous improvement through data-driven root cause analysis and collaboration with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities of Role
Deputy Manager - OE Analytics Operational Excellence and Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of major plant equipment, utilizing test data to identify performance trends and losses.
Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) on operational issues using data-driven approaches and implement rigorous checks based on historical data to prevent future inefficiencies.

Communicate identified gaps to stakeholders and collaborate on developing resolution strategies.
Support in the resolution of issues based on insights and analysis from operational data.
Equipment and Instrument Management: Manage instrument budgeting, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for equipment maintenance and upgrades.
Manage calibration schedules to maintain the accuracy, reliability and availability of major equipment.
Follow up on MoC (Management Of Change) approvals and notify Operations & Maintenance (O&M;) teams as necessary and update on SAP systems.
Assist in field operations during annual audits and assessments to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Process Analysis and System Optimization:
Analyse existing processes and systems to identify areas for enhancement and Collaborate with stakeholders to review and refine operational procedures and implement cost optimization opportunities through strategic analysis and planning.

Provide analytical support for external audits, administrative tasks, and report assessments.
Business Sustainability: Ensure adherence to IMS, AWMS, DISHA and CHETNA guidelines within the department.
Maintain the safety of personnel and equipment through proper training, regular reviews of safety measures and adherence to safety protocols and standards.
Implement strategies to minimize environmental impact and promote sustainable practices.
Digitization and Automation: Execute comprehensive digitization strategies to optimize operational efficiency.
Implement automation solutions to support overall organizational goals/strategy.
Implement process and system improvements, adopting newer technologies and innovative ideas.

Qualifications and Experience
Educational Qualification: BE/B.
tech or equivalent technical field.
Work Experience (Range of years): 10+ years of experience in operational excellence, process improvement, or related field within a manufacturing or plant setting.
Preferred Industry: Experience in the petrochemical, manufacturing, or heavy industrial sector is preferred.
