Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies and test scripts for smart lock devices with Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity
Set up and configure automated test environments using hardware test rigs and device controllers capable of simulating button presses, lock mechanisms, and wireless signal variations
Validate Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and WiFi connectivity across various environmental conditions, device states, and firmware versions
Develop and maintain automated test scripts that verify communication protocols, connection stability, data integrity, and edge-case scenarios
Perform manual and automated hardware testing to identify hardware failures, connectivity issues, and performance bottlenecks
Debug issues in collaboration with firmware and hardware design teams to isolate root causes
Manage firmware updates and version control during the test process
Document test results with transparent reporting, analysis,
and actionable feedback for engineering teams
Primary Skills
Strong experience in hardware testing and quality assurance
Proficiency in writing test scripts (Python, C, or similar programming languages)
Solid knowledge of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and WiFi technologies and protocols
Familiarity with hardware testing tools, measurement equipment, and testing frameworks
Ability to work with firmware, perform firmware updates, and understand device architecture
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
