Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Python Automation Tester with expertise in test automation, API testing, and framework development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions to ensure high-quality software releases. The candidate should possess strong Python programming skills and hands-on experience with modern automation tools and CI/CD practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using Python.
- Create and execute automated test scripts for web, API, and backend applications.
- Develop reusable automation utilities and libraries.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Automate REST API testing using tools such as Requests, PyTest, or Robot Framework.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Maintain test documentation, reports, and quality metrics.
- Continuously improve automation coverage and testing processes.

Required Skills

- Strong proficiency in Python programming.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Python.




- Experience in test automation frameworks such as PyTest, Robot Framework, or Behave.
- Strong understanding of API testing using Requests, Postman, or REST Assured equivalent tools.
- Experience with SQL and database validation.
- Knowledge of Git/GitHub version control.
- Experience working with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
- Understanding of software testing concepts, SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
- Solid debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Playwright using Python.
- Knowledge of Docker and containerized test execution.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter.
- Experience in BDD frameworks such as Cucumber/Behave.

Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 3 to 8+ years of experience in automation testing.
