Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive ServiceNow CMDB ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Define CI class structures, data models, and relationships.
- Configure and optimize ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping to enhance CI population and visibility.
- Troubleshoot discovery challenges and enhance coverage and accuracy.
- Integrate CMDB with external systems using APIs, MID Servers, and ETL tools.
- Monitor CMDB health via dashboards, audits, and reports.
- Define and enforce CMDB governance processes and compliance.
- Align with ITIL best practices and work closely with Incident, Problem, Change, and Asset Management teams.
- Provide mentorship to junior developers and technical guidance within the team.
- Maintain documentation and present CMDB compliance/health metrics to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:





- 510 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
- Solid knowledge of infrastructure components (servers, networks, cloud, applications).
- Expertise in JavaScript, Glide scripting, data modeling, and custom integrations.
- Hands-on experience with MID Servers, REST/SOAP APIs, and data integration tools.
- Solid understanding of ITIL v3/v4 framework, particularly Configuration Management.
- Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and stakeholder interaction skills.
- Preferred Certifications:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ServiceNow Discovery and/or CMDB Specialist Certification
