Job Summary

The Warehouse Supervisor - Biomass Bank is responsible for ensuring efficient warehouse operations, equipment availability, inventory accuracy, fuel reconciliation, and compliance with SOPs across the Biomass Bank. The role focuses on managing equipment lifecycle, daily deployment, fuel and inventory management, warehouse safety, quality parameters (moisture & temperature), and contract manpower attendance-leveraging both platform-based systems and manual controls to ensure high asset productivity and operational readiness.

Responsibilities

- Equipment Onboarding: Onboard new equipment on the platform and maintain accurate asset records.
- Equipment Transfer: Manage equipment transfer-in and transfer-out between Biomass Banks.
- Equipment Status Management: Update equipment status on the platform as Active (working condition) or In-active (breakdown).
- Repair & Reactivation: Coordinate equipment repairs and ensure timely reactivation.
- Asset Productivity: Track equipment productivity, utilization, and operational performance.
- Daily Check-in & Check-out: Perform daily equipment check-out and check-in on the platform.
- Equipment Availability: Ensure equipment availability as per operational requirements.
- Deployment Monitoring: Monitor equipment deployment and utilization.
- Escalation: Escalate equipment shortages, breakdowns, or downtime to the concerned teams.
- Fuel Dispensing: Dispense fuel using the Repos system.
- Fuel Reconciliation: Maintain daily fuel reconciliation on the platform.
- Inventory Management: Update inward and outward inventory transactions on the platform.
- Stock Verification: Regularly verify physical stock against platform stock.
- Delivery Scheduling: Schedule deliveries for confirmed orders.
- Logistics Optimization: Optimize delivery schedules to reduce logistics costs.
- SOP Compliance:



Ensure warehouse operations are carried out as per defined SOPs.
- Stacking Management: Maintain proper stacking as per the approved warehouse layout.
- Environmental Monitoring: Monitor and record moisture and temperature levels.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure safety signages are displayed and properly maintained.
- Equipment Readiness: Conduct regular equipment readiness and maintenance checks.
- Requisitions: Raise requisitions for refuelling and spare parts as required.
- Spare Stock Management: Maintain adequate spare stock inventory.
- Safety Kit Management: Distribute safety kits and maintain proper records.
- Visual Management: Ensure visual management practices are maintained inside the warehouse.
- Quality Checks: Conduct moisture and temperature checks as per SOP requirements.
- Digital Reporting: Record and upload moisture and temperature data on the platform.
- Quality Compliance: Ensure quality compliance before aggregation and dispatch.
- Attendance Management: Maintain daily attendance records of contract manpower.
- Manpower Availability: Ensure adequate manpower availability for smooth warehouse operations.

Ideal Candidate Profile

- General Background: Education Graduate in any discipline. Diploma/Degree preferred.
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in warehouse operations, asset management, or field operations. Experience in agri, biomass, logistics, or rural operations is preferred.
- Technical Competency:



Domain Knowledge Warehouse operations and SOP compliance, equipment and asset management, inventory control and reconciliation, and fuel management systems.
- Platform & Reporting: Basic knowledge of platform/app-based reporting and digital record management.
- Equipment Management: Equipment deployment tracking, utilization monitoring, maintenance coordination, and downtime management.
- Inventory & Fuel Management: Inventory control, physical stock reconciliation, fuel dispensing, and daily fuel reconciliation.
- Quality & Safety: Quality monitoring through moisture and temperature checks, safety management, and compliance with defined SOPs.
- Vendor & Manpower Coordination: Coordinate with vendors and contract manpower to ensure smooth warehouse and field operations.
- Presentation / Communication Skills: Communication Clear and effective communication with field teams, vendors, contract manpower, and managers.
- Reporting & Escalation: Basic reporting skills with the ability to identify operational issues and escalate them appropriately.
