Plant Capacity: 7.5 MW (2 3.75 MW)

DPIPL is seeking an experienced O&M; Manager to lead the operations and maintenance of its newly commissioned 7.5 MW hydro power plant. The plant operates round-the-clock in three shifts.

Key Responsibilities

- Direct and oversee plant operations across all three shifts, ensuring safe, reliable and optimum power generation.
- Supervise the operation and maintenance of:
- Mechanically and electrically operated Head Regulator and intake systems
- 2 km-long, 50 cumecs power canal
- Two 3.75 MW turbine-generator units
- Powerhouse, electrical systems, switchyard and associated equipment

- Manage shift teams, establish proper shift handover procedures and ensure accurate operational logs and reporting.
- Plan and monitor preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance.
- Track plant availability, generation, water utilisation, outages and equipment performance.
- Coordinate with equipment suppliers, service providers and relevant government or utility authorities.
- Maintain essential spares and consumables and ensure timely procurement.
- Enforce safety procedures,



statutory compliance and emergency-response protocols.
- Provide regular operational and performance reports to management.

Candidate Profile

- Degree or diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or relevant Engineering discipline.
- Preferably 812 years of experience in hydro power plant operations and maintenance, including supervisory or managerial experience.
- Solid understanding of hydro turbines, generators, electrical systems, gates, canals, intake structures and water-management systems.
- Capable of leading multidisciplinary teams and responding effectively to operational emergencies.
- Hands-on, disciplined and willing to remain closely involved in day-to-day plant operations.

Location Requirement

The selected candidate must be willing to reside in the company-provided accommodation at the plant or at Pathalgaon, and must be available to attend the plant during emergencies or critical operational situations outside normal working hours.
