Job Summary

We are looking for a Technical Writer to join the documentation team and help users understand software products. The role involves translating complex product functionality into clear, accurate, and well-structured documentation while working closely with Product, Engineering, QA, Design, and Marketing teams across release cycles.

Key Responsibilities

- Create end-user and administrator documentation, including help articles, feature guides, onboarding content, and release notes.
- Understand product releases by reviewing product requirements, UI specifications, Figma designs, engineering specifications, marketing collateral, and release notes.
- Create content plans and gather requirements from Product Managers, Engineers, QA, and other stakeholders.
- Install and test product builds to verify documented workflows and ensure documentation accuracy.
- Work within Agile/sprint-based release cycles, including release candidates, code freeze, and GA milestones.
- Use AI writing tools to improve documentation efficiency and content quality while maintaining editorial standards.
- Follow established style guides, voice and tone principles, and editorial standards.
- Manage documentation review cycles, incorporate stakeholder feedback, track approvals, and resolve conflicting inputs.
- Design and maintain content architecture,



including how topics are structured, grouped, and linked.
- Create documentation with localization and translation in mind.
- Use documentation analytics and content-performance data to identify content gaps and improve documentation.

Required Experience

- Strong experience in technical writing and software/product documentation.
- Experience creating end-user or administrator documentation.
- Ability to understand and document complex software/product functionality.
- Experience working with Product, Engineering, QA, and other cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of SDLC, Agile/sprint cycles, release candidates, code freeze, and GA milestones.
- Experience working with style guides and editorial frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder communication and feedback-management skills.
- Experience managing multiple documentation workstreams independently.
- Familiarity with documentation analytics and content performance.
- Practical experience using AI writing tools in documentation workflows.
