We are looking for an experienced Android Framework / AOSP / HAL Engineer with robust hands-on experience in Android platform development, AOSP customization, HAL integration, and system-level debugging.

The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills in C/C++ and Java, along with experience working on Android Framework components, Binder IPC, AIDL/HIDL, Android System Services, and HAL layers.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, customize, and maintain Android Framework and AOSP components.
- Work on Android System Services such as ActivityManagerService (AMS), WindowManagerService (WMS), PackageManagerService (PMS), SystemUI, etc.
- Develop and integrate HAL components and interface with hardware/platform layers.
- Work with AIDL, HIDL, Binder IPC, JNI, and native Android services.
- Develop and debug platform-level features using C/C++ and Java.
- Perform AOSP customization, Android version upgrades,



and platform integration.
- Work with Qualcomm / MediaTek BSP and embedded Android platforms.
- Analyze and resolve system-level issues including ANRs, crashes, tombstones, memory leaks, boot-time issues, and performance problems.
- Use tools such as ADB, Logcat, dumpsys, bugreport, Perfetto/Systrace for debugging and performance analysis.
- Work on SELinux/SEPolicy configuration and troubleshoot AVC denials.
- Participate in CTS/VTS validation and resolve compliance issues.
- Manage AOSP builds, OTA packages, Git/Gerrit workflows, and release activities.
- Collaborate with chipset vendors, hardware teams, and cross-functional engineering teams.
