Job Summary

The Study Abroad Pathways Program Counselor is responsible for guiding prospective students through international education opportunities, including pathway, foundation, undergraduate, postgraduate, and transfer programs. The role involves student counseling, university selection, admissions support, visa guidance, application management, and conversion of leads into enrollments.

Key Responsibilities

Student Counseling & Advising

Counsel students and parents regarding study abroad opportunities across destinations such as the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Germany, France, and Europe.

Assess student profiles, academic background, career goals, budget, and eligibility.

Recommend suitable pathway, foundation, diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate programs.

Provide accurate information on admission requirements, scholarships, tuition fees, and career outcomes.

Admissions & Application Support

Guide students through the complete application process.

Assist with document collection, SOPs, LORs, resumes, and university applications.

Track applications and coordinate with university representatives.

Ensure timely submission of applications and supporting documents.

Visa & Pre-Departure Assistance

Advise students on visa requirements and documentation.

Support visa interview preparation and compliance procedures.





Conduct pre-departure orientation sessions covering accommodation, travel, and cultural adaptation.

Lead Management & Conversions

Handle inbound and outbound student inquiries.

Conduct counseling sessions via phone, video calls, and in-person meetings.

Follow up with leads and maintain high conversion rates.

Achieve monthly enrollment and revenue targets.

Relationship Management

Build solid relationships with students, parents, university partners, and recruitment agents.

Participate in education fairs, webinars, seminars, and promotional events.

Maintain student records and updates in CRM systems.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Marketing, International Relations, or a related field.

15 years of experience in overseas education counseling, admissions, or student recruitment.

Knowledge of international admissions processes and visa procedures.

Experience with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
