Role & Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain historical failure databases for product reliability analysis.
- Perform Failure Mode Analysis, Product Performance Analysis, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Support AI-driven analytics and predictive failure detection initiatives.
- Facilitate 8D investigations and prepare detailed technical failure reports.
- Analyze warranty, field failure, and product performance data from multiple sources.
- Create dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, and Excel.
- Support cross-functional teams in reliability improvement and corrective action initiatives.
- Conduct Ishikawa (Fishbone) analysis and ensure proper documentation of engineering findings.
- Support engine, powertrain,



and vehicle system-related failure investigations.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, Automotive, or related Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in automotive product performance, reliability, or failure analysis.
- Solid knowledge of Engine, Powertrain, and OEM Product Development processes.
- Hands-on experience with FMEA, RCA, 8D, Warranty Analysis, and Reliability Engineering.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Advanced Excel, and Data Analytics tools.
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts and predictive analytics is preferred.
