Summary:

At Sheekharr, finance is not limited to recording transactions. It provides the accuracy, control and financial visibility required for a business operating across products, procurement, sales, logistics, inventory and operations.

As a Senior Accounts professional, you will take responsibility for maintaining financial accuracy, statutory compliance, reconciliations, reporting and financial controls while developing a clear understanding of how finance connects with the wider business.

Responsibilities & Ownership

- Manage day-to-day and end-to-end accounting activities.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, journals and financial records.
- Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations and related accounting activities.
- Manage GST, TDS and applicable statutory accounting requirements.
- Prepare monthly MIS, financial reports, reconciliations and management information.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Review accounting entries, supporting documents and financial transactions.
- Support payroll accounting, employee reimbursements, inventory accounting and fixed asset records.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and coordinate for timely closure.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and take ownership of resolution.
- Strengthen accounting processes and internal financial controls.




- Guide and review the work of junior accounting team members where required.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of financial information.

What Were Looking For

- 37 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Working knowledge of GST, TDS, reconciliations and statutory compliance.
- Hands-on experience with Tally Prime / ERP and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Good attention to detail and documentation.
- Ability to independently manage deadlines and priorities.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment will be an advantage.
