Strategic Project Delivery (Customer EDI Integration)

Lead the EDI Onboarding Project: Act as the primary SAP architect for establishing a robust, scalable EDI connection with our strategic customer.

Process Mapping & Blueprinting: Gather and translate customer business requirements into comprehensive functional specifications and SAP technical designs.

IDoc & EDI Configuration: Configure inbound and outbound IDocs, Partner Profiles, Port Definitions, and Message Control for key EDI transactions (e.g., ANSI X12 850/855/856/810 or EDIFACT ORDERS/ORDRSP/DESADV/INVOIC).

Middleware Collaboration: Work closely with middleware/integration teams (e.g., Mulesoft)

Testing & Deployment: Lead end-to-end testing cycles including Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with internal stakeholders and the customer's technical team.

SAP SD & LE Architecture

System Configuration: Perform advanced configuration within SAP SD and LE modules, specifically tailored to automate the O2C cycle, pricing, shipping, and billing processes driven by EDI inputs.

Logistics Execution Integration: Architect the outbound delivery and transportation processes to ensure accurate and timely generation of Advanced Shipping Notices (ASNs).

Cross-Functional Integration: Ensure seamless integration between SD/LE and other core SAP modules, including MM (Materials Management) and FI (Financial Accounting).

Troubleshooting & Optimization: Utilize ABAP debugging skills to troubleshoot complex interface errors, custom user exits, and BAPIs related to the order management and delivery process.

Required Qualifications

Experience:



15+ years of hands-on, progressive experience in SAP SD and SAP LE configuration, with a proven track record of full lifecycle implementations.

EDI/IDoc Mastery: Exceptional expertise in SAP EDI architecture. Deep understanding of output determination, IDoc processing, extension of basic types, and error handling (BD87, WE19).

B2B Standards: Solid functional knowledge of global EDI standards, specifically ANSI X12 and EDIFACT, as they relate to supply chain and O2C processes.

Complex O2C Knowledge: Master-level understanding of advanced SAP pricing procedures, tax determination, available-to-promise (ATP), and specialized business processes (e.g., third-party processing, intercompany billing).

Technical Acumen: Ability to write clear, detailed functional specifications for ABAP developers and strong ABAP debugging skills to independently trace and resolve issues.

Project Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead complex integration projects autonomously, acting as the primary liaison between internal business teams, IT, and external customer technical contacts.

Preferred Qualifications

SAP S/4HANA: Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA (1909 or newer), including knowledge of Business Partner (BP) configuration, BRF+, and simplified data models.

Industry Experience: Background in manufacturing, CPG, or wholesale distribution.

Certifications: Current SAP S/4HANA Sales or Logistics Execution certifications.

Soft Skills: Executive-level communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical integration concepts to non-technical business stakeholders.
