We are looking for an experienced Application Packaging Specialist with solid expertise in Flexera AdminStudio, MSI packaging, Application Virtualization, and SCCM/MECM deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create MSI packages from files, registry entries, services, and custom configurations using Flexera AdminStudio.
- Create and manage multiple MST transforms as per customer standards.
- Develop and manage Custom Actions, Merge Modules, Registry Permissions, and Active Setup.
- Handle Major Revision/Upgrade requirements for applications.
- Develop advanced scripts using PowerShell, VBScript, and Batch files.
- Perform application integration and application remediation activities.
- Sequence applications using App-V and perform advanced scripting.
- Publish applications from AdminStudio to SCCM and support SCCM deployments.
- Perform QA testing, UAT coordination, and application validation.
- Troubleshoot application installation, deployment, compatibility, and post-deployment issues.
- Troubleshoot application conflicts and applications impacted by OS or patch upgrades.
- Validate silent installation and uninstallation reliability.
- Create and maintain SOPs, knowledge documentation, and activity reports.
- Coordinate with EUC teams, business users, and L2 operations teams for UAT and knowledge transfer.
- Participate in customer meetings and provide regular activity updates.
- Provide support in 24x7 shifts as required.
