Job Summary

Business Analyst - Transaction Banking/ Payments - - (BFSI) - India (IK). Role Type: Business Analyst. Total Experience Required: 8-12 years of overall relevant experience. BFSI Experience (Mandatory): Minimum 5 years of recent BFSI (Banking, Financial Services Insurance) experience is mandatory. Pune / Bangalore preferred. Engagement Duration: 1 year+ (this is expected to be a multi-year engagement). Notice Period: Immediate joiners strongly preferred. Candidates with a notice period of up to 30 days maximum will be considered - this is a firm requirement with no exceptions.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather and document requirements for Payments transformation initiatives across front-end (App/Browser) customer journeys
- Support delivery across Cross Border Payments, FX engine, Wallets, Payment Operations, ISO20022, or Compliance Regulatory Payments workstreams
- Write EPICs, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria; run requirement workshops and backlog grooming sessions
- Support end-to-end delivery lifecycle activities, including risk issues analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional, multi-geography teams throughout delivery

Required / Must-Have Skills





- Domain: Payments, Front End (App/Browser) - strong customer journey exposure on Mobile or Browser
- Sub-domain exposure to at least one of: Cross Border Payments, FX engine, Wallets, Payment Operations, ISO20022, or Compliance Regulatory Payments (across more than 2 geographies)
- Excellent communication skills
- Agile exposure of at least 2 years or more - not limited to Sprints and Scrum planning
- Strong at writing EPICs, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria; running elaborate requirement workshops and backlog grooming
- Understanding of the end-to-end delivery lifecycle and the role of a BA at each stage, with a positive command of risk issues analysis

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

- Prior experience with a leading global bank (preferred, not mandatory)
