- Assist cardiologists during angiography, angioplasty, and other cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Prepare the Cath Lab, equipment, instruments, and consumables before procedures.
- Operate and assist with Cath Lab equipment and cardiac monitoring systems.
- Maintain sterile techniques and follow infection-control protocols.
- Prepare and position patients for cardiac procedures.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and cardiac rhythm during procedures.
- Assist in handling catheters, guidewires, balloons, stents, and other procedural equipment.
- Ensure all required instruments and supplies are available during procedures.
- Maintain and check Cath Lab equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Follow radiation safety and patient safety protocols.
- Assist the medical team during emergency cardiac situations when required.
- Maintain accurate procedure records, patient documentation, and inventory records.
- Clean, disinfect, and prepare the Cath Lab after each procedure.
- Coordinate with cardiologists, nurses, technicians, and other healthcare staff for smooth workflow.
- Follow hospital policies, safety standards, and quality-control procedures.
