Job description

The Buyer IT Category is responsible for end-to-end procurement activities for IT goods and services, including hardware, software, licenses, SaaS, cloud services, and IT professional services. The role focuses on supplier management, cost optimization, contract compliance, and timely delivery while ensuring alignment with internal IT and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Sourcing

- Execute purchase requisitions, RFQs/RFPs, and purchase orders for IT categories
- Manage sourcing for:
- Software & license.
- SaaS & cloud subscriptions
- IT support and professional services
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, approval matrices, and SLAs

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

- Work closely with IT, InfoSec, Finance,



and Legal teams
- Maintain robust relationships with preferred and strategic IT vendors
- Contract & Commercial Management
- Support contract negotiations for pricing, licensing terms, renewals, and amendments
- Track renewals, expiries, and usage to avoid auto-renewals and compliance risks
- Ensure adherence to contractual terms and commercial conditions
- Cost Optimization & Savings
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through vendor consolidation and benchmarking
- Track and report savings, cost avoidance, and value-add initiatives
