Key responsibilities

- Teach the assigned subject according to the school curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and assessments.
- Explain concepts clearly and support students with academic difficulties.
- Conduct tests, evaluate answer sheets, and maintain student records.
- Prepare students for board examinations and other competitive/entrance exams where applicable.
- Monitor students academic progress, attendance, and classroom behavior.
- Use appropriate teaching methods, technology, and educational resources.

Qualification

- Postgraduate/Masters degree in the relevant subject.
- B.Ed. or an equivalent recognized teaching qualification.
- Required eligibility tests or certifications depending on the recruiting organization, such as CTET/TET, where applicable.
- Robust subject knowledge and communication skills.
