Role & responsibilities
- Manage and support Agriculture & Government Business operations at SBIG Head Office.
- Oversee and coordinate activities related to crop insurance schemes including PMFBY.
- Handle claims processing, documentation, assessment coordination, and compliance.
- Work efficiently on the NCIP portal for policy issuance, enrolment, claim workflows, and reporting.
- Provide subject-matter expertise in crop insurance concepts such as:
- Localized calamity losses
- Post-harvest losses
- Yield-based losses
- Prevented sowing claims
- MSA (Mid Season Adversity)
- WSL
- KRPH Etc.
- Collaborate with internal teams, government bodies, and external stakeholders.
- Analyse data, prepare MIS reports, and support audits/monitoring activities.
- Ensure timely communication, escalation, and resolution of issues.
- Support strategic initiatives in Agriculture & Government business segments.
