Job Summary
The Head Finance & Accounts will be responsible for leading the organizations financial strategy, ensuring robust financial control, regulatory compliance, and business performance management. This role requires a strong accounting and controlling background, with the ability to drive financial planning, risk management, and operational excellence while partnering closely with the Managing Director and leadership team.

Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Planning & Strategy

- Lead preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Prepare and present key financial reports including:
- Balance Sheet
- Profit & Loss Statement
- Cash Flow Statements
- Budget vs Actual Analysis
- Financial Projections & Variance Reports

- Drive financial discipline and strategic decision-making across the organization.

2. Financial Analysis & Risk Management

- Conduct financial risk assessments and provide actionable insights to management.
- Perform efficiency and profitability analysis to support financial policies and business improvements.
- Offer strategic recommendations based on financial data and market trends.

3. Accounting & Financial Reporting

- Ensure accurate maintenance of statutory books of accounts including journal, ledger, and cash book.
- Oversee preparation and reconciliation of:
- Financial statements
- Bank transactions
- Stock statements

- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and statutory regulations.

4. Financial Controlling

- Establish and enforce internal financial controls and governance frameworks.
- Review and approve financial transactions and reports including:
- Aging reports
- Cash flow and cash pool reports

- Manage cost center accounting, allocation methodologies, and man-hour rate calculations.
- Monitor financial performance and ensure adherence to budgets.

5. Transfer Pricing

- Prepare and maintain Transfer Pricing documentation in compliance with regulations.
- Ensure adherence to TP policies, conduct audits, and manage TP assessments.

6. Treasury & Hedging

- Manage forex risk exposure by implementing hedging strategies.
- Prepare documentation for hedging transactions in compliance with regulatory requirements.

7. Commercial & Working Capital Management





- Negotiate and manage credit facilities, vendor contracts, and financial agreements.
- Oversee:
- Accounts receivable and payable
- Payment collections and follow-ups
- Vendor payments and purchase processes

- Monitor receivable aging and ensure effective working capital management.
- Manage export receivables and project finance with variance analysis.

8. Taxation (Direct & Indirect)

- Oversee end-to-end tax compliance, including:
- Advance tax and self-assessment tax
- TDS returns and statutory filings
- GST, VAT, excise, and customs matters

- Ensure proper handling of import/export documentation and tax implications.
- Provide strategic advisory on tax optimization and compliance.

9. Banking & Investments

- Manage all banking operations, including:
- Bank guarantees
- Letters of Credit (LCs)

- Liaise with financial institutions for credit approvals.
- Review and manage organizational investments and liquidity.

10. Audit & Compliance

- Lead internal and statutory audits, ensuring timely closure of observations.
- Prepare audit reports and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

11. Payroll & Statutory Compliance

- Oversee payroll operations including:
- Salary processing
- Statutory deductions (PF, gratuity, insurance, etc.)

- Ensure timely filing and payment of statutory dues.
- Coordinate with payroll service providers for compliance.

12. Corporate Compliance

- Ensure compliance with Registrar of Companies (ROC) requirements.
- Manage documentation and filings related to corporate governance.

13. Systems & Process Improvement

- Implement and optimize financial systems/ERP (including SAP interface).
- Strengthen internal processes and controls to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

14. Reporting & Governance

- Provide timely and accurate reports to management and stakeholders.
- Support leadership with financial insights for strategic decisions.

15. Team Leadership & Development

- Build, mentor,



and lead a high-performing finance team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

- Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) / CMA (preferred)
- Experience: 10 -15 years in Finance & Accounts with leadership exposure
- Experience in manufacturing / automotive / multinational environment preferred
