Job Summary
The incumbent will be accountable and responsible for overseeing all CKBCI entity's corporate finance, in-country accounting, taxation, and reporting activities for the Indian subsidiary and providing leadership and direction to the CKBCI finance team. The successful candidate will act as a finance controller to the India Centre to provide leadership and ensure compliance in all finance-related aspects with the highest levels of integrity. He will support the development of internal control policies and procedures for financial operations and financial risk management.

Responsibilities Operational Excellence
- Manage operational issues and challenges faced by the team and ensure close dialog with Service Receiver (Circle K Business Units and Reporting department in Headquarters, Laval) and various stakeholders in Europe and North America
- Implement and secure delivery by relevant group accounting policies and, where relevant, according to LGAAP
- Ensure timely and accurate accounting and reporting in accordance with Group deadlines and guidelines for CKBCI
- Ensure compliance with internal controls for CKBCI in accordance with the Company guidelines
- Drive process improvements, quality and standardization efforts for accounting and financial reporting processes
- Communicate with and give accounting support to other functions in CKBCI
- Coordinate internal and external audits to ensure timely completion
- Review and approve tax computations (income tax, GST)
- Appear for hearings along with consultants, if required
- Review and approve yearly LLP return filings and other filings as per Indian legislation requirements
- Review and approve payments and act as signing authority
- Develop and maintain a motivated and high-performing team
- Manage team operational planning, staffing requirements, recruitment process and goal setting / feedback (P@CK)
- Other duties as instructed by direct superior
Governance and Compliance
- Implement effective governance mechanisms within the in-country finance function and other support functions
Stakeholder Management
- Effectively communicate and manage solid relationships with internal stakeholders-local and global
- Promote partnership ecosystem with external stakeholders (auditors, tax and regulatory authorities, local authorities, payroll providers, etc.) to deliver operational excellence
Job Requirements Education
- Graduation in Commerce
- MBA in Finance desirable
Relevant Experience
- 8+ years of Indian corporate finance experience with at least 3+ years in a leadership role
