We are seeking a detail-oriented and process-driven Accountant (P2P) with 0- years of experience in Procure-to-Pay operations. The ideal candidate will be a commerce graduate with hands-on expertise in ERP systems such as SAP Business One and Sage 300. This role requires strong analytical skills, compliance awareness, and the ability to streamline workflows while ensuring accuracy and timeliness in vendor payments.
Role & responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end P2P cycle including invoice processing, vendor payments, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and audit requirements.
- Monitor vendor accounts, resolve discrepancies, and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, audit and compliance) to improve processes.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce external/internal errors.
- Assist in audits by providing accurate documentation and reconciliations.
Preferred candidate profile
- Education: Commerce graduate (B.Com or equivalent).
- Experience: 0-1 years of proven experience in Procure-to-Pay / Accounts Payable (College Graduates with valuable communication and accounting will also work).
- ERP Knowledge: Hands-on experience with SAP Business One and Sage 300.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, compliance frameworks, and audit processes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, bulk data cleaning).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead process improvements.

- Exposure to multi-unit retail or service industry environments.
- Experience in handling large vendor bases and high transaction volumes.
