Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2 support for FortiGate and Cisco FTD/Firepower firewalls.
- Manage and troubleshoot FMC, firewall policies, NAT, ACL, VPN and routing.
- Troubleshoot IPsec/SSL VPN, traffic flow, packet drops and connectivity issues.
- Monitor firewall health, logs, alerts and security events.
- Perform approved firewall configuration changes and rule implementation.
- Troubleshoot HA/failover and firewall-related incidents.
- Robust understanding of TCP/IP, VLAN, Routing & Switching, OSPF and BGP.
- Perform packet captures and analyze traffic using appropriate troubleshooting tools.
- Handle L2 incidents, changes and service requests within SLA.
- Coordinate with L3 Network/Security teams and OEM vendors for complex issues.
- Participate in 24x7 shift/on-call support, if required.
