Key Responsibilities

- Own end-to-end technical architecture for large-scale Akamai-to-AWS migration programs.
- Lead architecture, assessment, design, implementation, production cutover, and stabilization.
- Design secure, scalable AWS architectures using CloudFront, WAF, Shield, GuardDuty, Lambda@Edge, CloudFront Functions, Route 53, ALB, S3, and ACM.
- Assess Akamai configurations and map Property Manager, Kona Site Defender,



Bot Manager, EdgeWorkers/EdgeKV, and GTM capabilities to AWS.
- Architect WAF, bot management, rate limiting, API/application security, and origin protection solutions.
- Design custom edge solutions using CloudFront Functions, Lambda@Edge, and Node.js.
- Provide architecture leadership across DNS, routing, TLS/mTLS, CIDR, VPC, and edge-to-origin connectivity.
- Define observability and dashboards using CloudWatch, S3, Athena, and QuickSight.
- Lead technical teams, review implementations, resolve escalations, and maintain architecture decisions and migration runbooks.

Required Skills

- 12+ years in Cloud, Infrastructure, Solution, or Technical Architecture.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional Mandatory.
- Strong hands-on expertise in AWS CloudFront and AWS WAF.
- Proven experience in Akamai-to-AWS CloudFront/WAF migration.
- Strong knowledge of AWS Shield, GuardDuty, Lambda@Edge, CloudFront Functions, Route 53, ALB, S3, ACM, Athena, and QuickSight.
- Deep understanding of networking, DNS, routing, TLS/mTLS, CIDR, and origin connectivity.
- Strong expertise in cloud security, WAF, bot management, and edge architecture.
- Experience with Terraform/cloud automation and large-scale cloud migrations.
- Strong technical leadership, architecture governance, and stakeholder management skills.

- Akamai Property Manager, Kona Site Defender, Bot Manager Premium.
- Akamai EdgeWorkers / EdgeKV and GTM.
- HCP Terraform.
- Node.js-based edge application development.
- Large-scale CDN, edge computing, and security migration experience.
