Overview
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support web-tier application development for our customer. This role is responsible for designing, developing, building, testing, and deploying front-end applications in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience with contemporary front-end development, including JavaScript, React, Redux, CSS/SCSS, and responsive design. This role requires an independent contributor who can evaluate an existing codebase, make sound technical decisions, and deliver high-quality implementation with minimal formal documentation. Experience with React, Next.js, design systems, CMS integration, feature toggling, and front-end testing will be especially valuable.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, build, test, and deploy web-tier applications.
- Work independently to understand, analyze, and contribute to an existing codebase.
- Provide insight and technical analysis on application structure, implementation options, and front-end development approaches.
- Build and maintain high-quality React-based user interfaces and application features.
- Support development within design systems, including writing reusable React code and maintaining consistent front-end patterns.
- Contribute to CMS integration, feature toggling, and related front-end implementation work.
- Evaluate performance considerations as part of day-to-day development.
- Work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.
- Participate in project estimates based on interface wireframes and desired functionality.
- Research emerging topics and technologies related to assigned tasks.
- Participate in relevant project meetings and technical discussions.
- Provide research and recommendations to support business and information technology groups.
- Advise on options,



impacts to other business processes, and system priorities.
- Prioritize assigned tasks and keep management informed of status, risks, and roadblocks.
- Communicate constructively with team members and contribute as a positive, active member of the team.
- All other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

- 3+ years of experience with front-end development.
- 2+ years of experience with React and Redux.
- Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript, React, CSS/SCSS, and responsive design.
- Experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying web-tier applications.
- Ability to work independently and understand existing systems with limited documentation.
- Ability to make sound technical decisions and drive clarity through code.
- Experience using Git source control, including command-line tools and related workflows.
- Strong understanding of software development and project management methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience may be required.
- Typically requires 5–7 years of related experience.
