Job Summary

We are looking for a hands-on EHS Executive to ensure safe operations and compliance across our chemical manufacturing plant. The role will be responsible for plant safety inspections, HIRA/JSA, Permit-to-Work, safety training, emergency preparedness, incident investigation, chemical safety and EHS documentation.
Key Responsibilities

- Conduct regular plant safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and conditions.

- Conduct and support HIRA, JSA and risk assessments for routine and non-routine activities.

- Monitor Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems including hot work, work at height, confined space, electrical and maintenance activities.

- Ensure safe handling, storage and transportation of chemicals and hazardous materials.

- Monitor PPE compliance and secure working practices among employees and contractors.

- Conduct safety induction, toolbox talks and regular EHS training.





- Conduct and coordinate fire drills, emergency mock drills and emergency preparedness activities.

- Investigate accidents, near misses and incidents, identify root causes and follow up on corrective actions.

- Monitor fire-fighting systems, emergency equipment and safety installations.

- Maintain EHS records including inspection reports, training records, PTW records, incident reports and statutory documentation.

- Support internal, external and statutory safety audits and ensure closure of observations.

- Monitor hazardous and non-hazardous waste management and applicable environmental requirements.

- Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Stores, QA/QC and contractors for implementation of safety measures.

- Support compliance with applicable Factories Act, safety regulations and environmental requirements.

- Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement across the plant.
