Purpose

To integrate, test, calibrate, and develop the EV powertrain to meet the performance, NVH, and durability requirements of electric vehicles.

Role Description

- Understand different EV architectures and CAN DBCs to develop working prototypes.
- Plan and execute EV design validation plans (DVPs) at the component, system, and vehicle levels for the powertrain function.
- Calibrate MCU torque maps and refine VCU, charger, and cluster software strategies to ensure TQT targets are met.
- Understand type-approval and subsidy requirements for EVs in domestic and international markets, and work with relevant test agencies to ensure compliance.
- Analyze system requirement specifications (SRS), functional flowcharts, and CAN signals to identify root causes of issues arising during DVP execution.




- Conduct benchmarking tests on competitor products and generate in-depth technical insights.
- Conduct on-road testing and perform post-processing analysis using tools such as VBOX, CANape, PicoScope, and power analyzers.
- Operate chassis and motor dynamometers and conduct vehicle-level and motor-level EV testing.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including dealers, customers, and suppliers, to resolve customer-quality issues and implement VA/VE engineering change requests.
- Apply basic vehicle dynamics calculations and work with MATLAB and Simulink tools.
