About This Role

The Consultant Recruitment will be responsible for identifying, sourcing, screening, and onboarding qualified candidates for fundraising and other roles, providing operational recruitment support to the team. The consultant will manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including candidate sourcing, interview coordination and onboarding, ensuring a seamless hiring experience. In addition, the role will support recruitment-related documentation, maintain candidate databases, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to meet hiring needs efficiently and in a timely manner.

Role & responsibilities

- Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for fundraising and other positions, from requisition to onboarding.
- Source and attract qualified candidates through job portals, social media, employee referrals, campus engagement, recruitment agencies, and other appropriate channels.
- Screen applications, conduct initial candidate assessments, and shortlist suitable candidates based on job requirements and organizational fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.




- Maintain an active talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs, with a focus on field fundraising roles.
- Support the selection process by coordinating interviews, collecting feedback, facilitating offer roll-out, and assisting with pre-joining formalities.
- Ensure timely onboarding of selected candidates by coordinating with relevant internal teams and completing required documentation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment records, candidate databases, and hiring trackers while ensuring data confidentiality.

Prepare and submit periodic recruitment reports, including hiring status, pipeline updates, and recruitment metrics.

Preferred candidate profile

- Experience in candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and onboarding is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with candidates and hiring managers.

Fluency in English and at least one local language - Tamil is preferred.
