Role & responsibilities

Job description

Main responsibilities:

Work independently and play a lead designer role for product development projects.

Design, development and maintenance work related Cutting tool design as per the ISO & ANSI Cutting tool Standards.

Support in developing design templates or automations in NX for enhancing global design

efficiency.

Calculate cost price for tool manufacturing depending on overall manufacturing processes involved in production.

Lead design related discussion with customers and partners timely and effectively.

Understand the manufacturing process for cutting tool and provide engineering support to Production and other functions.

Should have out of box thinking capacity and valuable analytical and information processing

capacity.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelor's Degree Mechanical Engineering

5+ yr experience into cutting tool design
