Role & responsibilities
- Attend to customers and understand their requirements to provide suitable product recommendations.
- Drive daily store sales and achieve assigned sales targets.
- Explain product features, pricing, offers, discounts, and promotions to customers.
- Ensure proper display, merchandising, and availability of FMCG products.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the Store In-Charge for replenishment.
- Assist in receiving, checking, arranging, and storing merchandise.
- Follow FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable and monitor expiry dates.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and proper organization of the store and sales area.
- Support billing and POS operations as required.
Preferred candidate profile
- 15 years of experience in FMCG retail, supermarket, pharmacy retail, contemporary trade, or general retail sales.
- Freshers with good communication and customer-handling skills may also be considered.
