Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)Must-Have

- SAPUI5 MVC architecture, Web technology.
- Development platform idea Web IDE and ECLIPSE.
- Gateway configuration and basic security(roles and authorization) understanding for Fiori Apps.
- ODATA Concept
- Good knowledge of Fiori roles and authorization
- Good experience in UI5 developments and debugging
- Positive experience in UI5 extensions
- Good experience in using UI5 controls, Views, Navigation properties etc.
- Good experience in Catalog and tile configurations.
- Good experience in debugging end to end application, from UI5 to ABAP
- Sound knowledge and experience in Object oriented programing
- Good in ABAP developments like DDIC objects, function module
- Good in ABAP exception handling
- Good in ABAP Workflows
- Good experience in ODATA services creation and consumption
- Good experience in ODATA service extension
- Good experience in Enhancement techniques like BADIs, implicit/explicit enhancements.

Good-to-Have

- Certified in SAP ABAP or Fiori

Role descriptions / Expectations from the Role

1.



Act as the technical expert, ensuring quick turnaround in identifying application issues and providing timely solutions.
2. Develop detailed plans and accurate estimates for completion of build, system testing and implementation phases of project.
3. Transform business function requirements into technical program specs to code, test and debug programs.
4. Develop code, document and execute unit tests, systems, integration and acceptance tests and testing tools for functions of high complexity.
5. Perform performance tuning to improve performance over multiple functions
6. Engage other technical team members in the design, delivery, and deployment of solutions.
7. Ensure integration system activities including monitoring the technical architecture (particularly scalability, availability and archiving) meet all SLA's.
8. Manage operational support, performing work during change windows as well as providing on call support as required by the team.
9. Undertake performance-tuning activities for SAP integration activities.
10. Mentor and coach junior developers/consultants if required.
11. Provide consulting services on new and existing initiatives.
