Job Description: ServiceNow Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer with a minimum of 5 years of ServiceNow development experience to design, develop, configure, customize, and support ServiceNow applications and platform capabilities. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in ITSM and working knowledge of ITOM, including CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and platform capabilities.
- Implement and support ITSM modules, including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Service Catalog, and Knowledge Management.
- Configure and support ITOM capabilities, including CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management.
- Develop server-side and client-side solutions using JavaScript, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Flow Designer, and Catalog Items.
- Build and maintain REST/SOAP integrations with enterprise systems and third-party applications.
- Develop and maintain Import Sets, Transform Maps, Scheduled Imports, and data integrations.
- Work with IntegrationHub to support enterprise integrations and workflow automation.




- Troubleshoot platform issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement appropriate enhancements.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployments, and Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
- Ensure all solutions follow ServiceNow best practices, coding standards, security requirements, and platform governance.

Required Skills & Experience

- Minimum 5 years of ServiceNow development experience.
- Strong experience with ITSM modules.
- Working knowledge of ITOM, including CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, and Flow Designer.
- Strong understanding of CMDB, Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE), CMDB Health Metrics, and CSDM.
- Experience with REST/SOAP integrations; IntegrationHub experience is an advantage.
- Solid knowledge of ServiceNow development best practices and coding standards.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
