Sales Engineer / Senior Sales Engineer

Industry: Industrial Refrigeration & HVAC Solutions
Reporting To: Regional Sales Manager

Job Summary

Responsible for driving sales and business development in the assigned territory, developing customer relationships, managing the sales pipeline, and achieving revenue targets for industrial cooling and refrigeration solutions.

Role & responsibilities

- Generate sales and achieve assigned revenue and growth targets.
- Develop new customers and expand business within the assigned territory.
- Manage leads, opportunities, quotations, orders, contracts, and sales pipeline.
- Track sales performance, pricing, targets, and take corrective actions when required.
- Conduct market development activities and identify recent business opportunities.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with customers and prospects.
- Handle customer objections, complaints, negotiations, and deal closures.
- Coordinate with management on monthly, quarterly, and annual sales planning.




- Monitor customer outstanding payments and support collection activities.
- Identify and report potential business risks and challenges.

Preferred candidate profile

- Education: BE/ME/PG Diploma Mechanical / Plastic / CIPET.
- Sales Engineer: 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
- Senior Sales Engineer: 4 to 7 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in Chiller, Refrigeration, Compressor, Pneumatic, Industrial, OEM, B2B, or Direct Sales preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, objection-handling, and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively and visit industrial customers/estates.
- Freshers with B.Tech + MBA (Marketing) may be considered for Sales Engineer roles.
