Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced professional to join the Analytics Data organization who will be responsible for analytics for US Banks. The candidate will work with data in a hands-on capacity to provide analytics, insights, and business intelligence that will help decision making and strategy. They will be responsible for owning delivery of key reports to US-based team members and leadership. The ideal candidate will display a high-level of autonomy, curiosity about data, and the ability to determine timely solutions while also thinking strategically to drive business results.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities will include but will not be limited to the following:

- Support US-based colleagues with reporting, insights generation, and process optimization/maintenance for US Banks. Focus areas will be performance measurement through KPI reporting, analytical deep dives, client profile analysis, segmentation, and ad hoc strategic requests
- Leverage data across disparate sources/formats to create and maintain new and innovative datasets and solutions while continuing to streamline existing processes to improve efficiency.
- Build scalable reporting and visualization frameworks that translate data into actionable insights and support consistent performance tracking and benchmarking.
- Develop efficient analytical solutions with focus on automation for new as well as existing processes.
- Partner with Data Strategy, Infrastructure, and Tech teams to drive continuous improvement in processes and platforms.





Experience

- Bachelor s degree in science/engineering/mathematics; MBA or other advanced degree preferred
- Analyst: Experience of 2-2.5 years in data programming SQL, preferably in the financial services industry.
- Associate: A minimum of 3 years of experience in Data Analytics (overall 3-5 years), preferably in the financial services industry.

Required Skills

- Solid proficiency in SQL and expertise in hands-on data analytics and sourcing data from multiple data platforms
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau and understanding of the end-to-end set-up of a dashboard as well as automated process setup for regular reporting processes is desirable.
- Basic familiarity with tools/applications like Dataiku, Snowflake, Hadoop, DB2, Salesforce is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail, aptitude for working with numerical information.
- Experience and strong aptitude in using different data environments.
- Demonstrated effectiveness with both oral and written communication.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced and evolving environment which includes ongoing learning and training opportunities.
