Role & responsibilities

- Visit customers with overdue home loan accounts to recover payments and manage assigned cases based on risk severity.
- Negotiate repayment plans or settlements within policy guidelines and ensure adherence to collection targets and timelines.
- Educate customers on loan terms, payment obligations, and consequences of default while addressing grievances professionally.
- Conduct field visits to borrower premises, guarantors, or property sites; trace skip cases and update records.
- Maintain accurate reports of visits, commitments, and collections, and submit timely updates to the reporting manager.
- Coordinate with legal teams for notices, SARFAESI actions, possession, or repossession activities as required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, RBI Fair Practices Code, and ethical collection practices.

Preferred candidate profile

- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Valuable interpersonal and communication skills (local language proficiency preferred).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Problem-solving attitude and resilience under pressure.
