Key Responsibilities
Driver Recruitment & Onboarding

Source and recruit drivers through referrals, field sourcing, consultants, and job portals.
Conduct preliminary screening and document verification.
Coordinate background verification and medical fitness, wherever applicable.
Ensure timely onboarding and induction of newly hired drivers.
Maintain an adequate driver pipeline to meet operational requirements.
Driver Operations

Manage daily driver attendance, deployment, and shift allocation.
Ensure optimum driver availability to support business operations.
Monitor driver productivity, utilization, and trip performance.
Coordinate with Operations, Fleet, and Client teams for smooth service delivery.
Compliance & Documentation

Verify and maintain driver documents, including:

Driving Licence
Aadhaar Card
PAN Card
Bank Details
Police Verification
Medical Certificates
Other statutory documents

Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.
Employee Engagement & Retention

Build strong relationships with drivers.
Address driver grievances and resolve issues promptly.
Conduct regular engagement activities.
Reduce driver attrition through continuous follow-up and motivation.

Performance Management

Monitor driver KPIs including:

Attendance
Trip completion
Customer feedback
Safety compliance
Punctuality
Behavioral standards
•
Initiate corrective actions wherever necessary.
Coordination

Liaise with:

Operations Team
HR Team
Fleet Team
Clients
Vendors
•




Support audits and operational reviews.
Reporting & MIS
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
Maintain driver database and onboarding tracker.
Submit recruitment, deployment, attrition, and compliance reports.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education
Graduate in any discipline.
Diploma holders with relevant experience may also be considered.
Experience

2 to 6 years of experience in:

Driver Recruitment
Driver Management
Fleet Operations
Logistics
Employee Transportation
Mobility Services
Cab Aggregators (Uber, Ola, BluSmart, Everest Fleet, Routematic, etc.)
Required Skills

Strong driver hiring and sourcing capabilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of fleet operations and transportation processes.

Valuable understanding of statutory compliance related to drivers.
Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and reporting tools.
Ability to work under pressure and meet hiring targets.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
