About the Role
K Raheja Corp is one of India's leading diversified real estate conglomerates, with a presence across Residential, Commercial, Retail and Hospitality. The Group FP&A; & MIS function is the nerve-centre of financial planning, reporting and decision-support for the Group's leadership and Board, and plays a critical role in Group-wide business planning, cash flow management, compliance and cost governance.
We are looking for an experienced Chartered Accountant to join as AGM / DGM Group FP&A; & MIS, to take ownership of core FP&A; and MIS deliverables, partner closely with business verticals, and build towards a future leadership track within Group FP&A.; This position is being created to build bench strength and ensure a smooth succession as the function evolves.
Key Responsibilities
Group Business Planning & Forecasting
Drive preparation of the annual and multi-year Group Business Plan across all verticals (Residential, Commercial, Retail, Hospitality).
Manage rolling forecasts and continuous variance monitoring against plan, with clear analysis of drivers and corrective actions.
Continuously improve planning cycle times through process re-engineering and stronger data governance.
Cash Flow Management & Treasury Support
Own monthly Group Cash Flow forecasting, coordinating closely with Banking, Business Development, Sales, Liaison, Engineering and Dev Co teams.
Track interest rate sensitivity, debt servicing and covenant metrics, and support Treasury on banking relationships and fund-raising as the role evolves towards the Treasury reporting line.
Monitor Mutual Fund investments / NAV reconciliation and surplus fund deployment reporting.
MIS, Reporting & Business Intelligence
Lead MIS reporting automation and dashboarding on SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects, SAP Lumira and Power BI.
Prepare Board and senior management reporting packs, business review decks and ad-hoc analyses on demand.
Track and report on geo-political cost impacts, key macro indicators and other emerging risk areas relevant to the business.
Identify opportunities to use AI-based tools to automate recurring reporting workflows and reduce manual reporting cycles.
REIT & Shared Services (PSS) Compliance
Support REIT MIS reporting and compliance requirements, including preparation and maintenance of cross-charge workings between Group entities and the REIT Manager.
Act as a key point of contact for PSS (Project Support Services) related queries from auditors, consultants and regulators.
Benchmark and review shared-services cost allocation methodology (Admin, IT, HR) across business verticals to ensure equitable and defensible cost distribution.
Cost Budgeting, Controls & Compliance
Oversee Admin, IT, HR and Construction budgeting, and drive cost-control initiatives across the Group.
Track Compliance trackers and IT budgets, ensuring adherence to approved plans.
Support feasibility studies and financial appraisal for current project acquisitions.
Partner with Internal Audit and Statutory Auditors on internal control reviews, fraud-risk assessments and process audits.
Team & Stakeholder Management
Build, lead and mentor a high-performing FP&A; / MIS team, with a focus on capability building and succession planning.
Partner effectively with Business Unit CFOs/Finance leads and cross-functional teams (Sales, Liaison, Engineering, Banking, BD) to ensure timely, accurate data flow.
Represent Group FP&A; in senior management and Board-level forums, presenting analysis with clarity and commercial judgement.
Candidate Profile
Chartered Accountant (CA) – mandatory; additional certifications (CFA / CPA / MBA-Finance) are a plus but not a substitute for CA.
10+ years of post-qualification experience in Corporate FP&A;, MIS or Business Finance, preferably within a large real estate, infrastructure, or diversified conglomerate
Strong hands-on experience with SAP (R/3 / HANA / Business Objects / Lumira) and Power BI or equivalent BI tools; advanced Excel skills.
Demonstrated experience in Group-level business planning, consolidation, cash flow forecasting and cost/variance analysis.
Proven people-leadership experience, with the ability to build and mentor a team.
Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and the maturity to engage confidently with senior leadership and the Board.
High learning agility and comfort with adopting technology / AI tools to modernise reporting processes.
