Job Description

Wind Package PMC Lead

The Wind Package PMC Lead will provide package-level monitoring, governance, and coordination support for utility-scale wind projects. The role will oversee Wind Turbine Generators (WTG), Balance of Plant (BoP), Unit Substations (USS), grid connectivity, commissioning, and handover activities while ensuring effective stakeholder and contractor interface management.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Monitoring & Coordination

- Lead PMC oversight of wind package construction, commissioning, and handover activities.
- Coordinate interfaces among contractors, OEMs, client teams, and stakeholders.
- Monitor progress across WTG erection, foundations, roads, electrical systems, substations, and grid infrastructure.
- Ensure alignment with project schedules, milestones, and commissioning plans.

Risk & Performance Management

- Review project risks, resource availability, logistics constraints, and recovery plans.
- Monitor package readiness for energization and commissioning activities.
- Drive issue resolution and escalate critical concerns impacting project delivery.

Reporting & Governance

- Consolidate technical, quality,



HSE, planning, commercial, and supply-chain inputs.
- Prepare package status reports, risk registers, and readiness assessments.
- Provide recommendations and project updates to the PMO Wind Lead and client leadership.
- Qualifications

Education

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
- Project Management qualification preferred.
- Experience

- 15+ years of experience in utility-scale wind energy projects.
- Demonstrated experience in PMC, Owner's Engineer, Client Representative, or Project Governance roles.
- Robust exposure to WTG, Wind BoP, Substations, Grid Connectivity, and Commissioning activities.

Certifications

- PMP certification preferred.
- Training in WTG erection, heavy lifting operations, work-at-height, OEM commissioning, and wind project interfaces is desirable.
