Job Summary:

As a Senior Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Developer, you will play a key technical leadership role in driving the strategy, architecture, and end-to-end execution of our B2C Commerce solution. Working closely with cross-functional teams, technical architects, and business stakeholders, you will architect, build, and optimize high-performing, scalable digital commerce experiences. You will lead technical design discussions, enforce engineering best practices, mentor mid-level developers, and ensure the long-term health and stability of the platform.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Lead the solution design, architectural strategy, and hands-on technical implementation of complex SFCC B2C commerce features.
- Design, build, unit test, and review enterprise-grade code (SFRA, ISML, Controllers, Scripting, REST/SOAP APIs).
- Architect, configure, and maintain custom third-party cartridge integrations (e.g., payment gateways, OMS, ERP, PIM, search engines).
- Drive site release strategy, CI/CD pipeline optimizations,



and dev-ops process improvements across staging and production environments.
- Define and maintain engineering guidelines, coding standards, performance benchmarks, and code review processes for the team.
- Identify technical debt and drive complexity reduction through refactoring and architectural modernizations.
- Translate complex business requirements into high-level architecture designs and actionable technical specifications.
- Conduct site performance tuning, log analysis, and deep-dive technical troubleshooting for high-concurrency event handling.
- Mentor and coach junior/mid-level developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, solution architecture diagrams, and seamless operational hand-offs.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 68 years of hands-on software development experience, with a primary focus on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware) B2C implementation.
- Proven experience with SFRA (Storefront Reference Architecture), Pipelines/JS Controllers, ISML, OCAPI, and Salesforce Commerce API (SCAPI).
- Active Salesforce Certifications preferred (e.g., SFCC B2C Commerce Developer or SFCC B2C Commerce Architect).
- Deep understanding of enterprise e-commerce architecture, including headless architecture, caching strategies, and third-party integrations.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills with a track record of driving technical initiatives.
