Job Description SAP R2R CO/P2D /EWM Testing Consultant (Fiori & qTest)

Position Overview

We are looking for a highly detailed SAP R2R CO/P2D /EWM with 6 to 8 years of experience to drive the quality assurance of our Management Accounting and Cost Controlling frameworks. This role focuses on validating internal reporting, cost allocations, and profitability analysis architectures on the SAP S/4HANA Fiori platform, managed entirely within Tricentis qTest.

Key Responsibilities

- CO Functional Test Design & Execution: Author and run end-to-end test scenarios across internal management accounting workflows, including:
- Cost Center Accounting (CCA) and Profit Center Accounting (PCA) master data and hierarchy validations.
- Overhead Cost Controlling, periodic allocations, assessments, and distributions.
- Product Cost Controlling (CO-PC), including standard cost estimates, material valuations, manufacturing order costing, and variance analysis.
- Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), margin analysis, and reconciliation between financial and management reporting.

- Fiori UI & Security Analysis: Verify cost analysis, budgeting, and performance dashboards using S/4HANA Fiori analytical applications.



Perform negative and positive security testing to ensure cost-center-level data restrictions are strictly enforced per business role requirements.
- Test Governance via Tricentis qTest: Organize, catalog, and execute complex CO test suites within qTest. Track testing execution velocity, document multi-step calculations, and orchestrate the full defect lifecycle with integrated project environments (such as Jira or Azure DevOps).
- Cross-Functional Integration: Test upstream cost impacts originating from Plan-to-Deliver (P2D production confirmations/material staging) and Order-to-Cash (OTC sales margins flowing to CO-PA).

Required Experience & Qualifications

- Experience: 68 years in IT QA/Testing, with 5+ years dedicated to SAP CO (Controlling). Minimum 2 years of experience working within S/4HANA Fiori and 2 years managing scripts in Tricentis qTest.
- Technical Skills: Deep functional understanding of cost object controlling, allocation cycles, inventory valuation strategies, and data flows within the Universal Journal.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional numerical accuracy, robust analytical capabilities, and the communication skills necessary to translate complex financial concepts to technical development tracks.
