Job Summary
Were hiring a Technical Engineering Lead to own architecture, drive engineering quality, and mentor the team building our platform.
Responsibilities
- Own the technical roadmap and architectural decisions; evaluate new frameworks and technologies for product evolution
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant
- Define technical requirements and acceptance criteria for team stories; approve technical approaches for complex features and integrations
- Enforce best practices in coding, reviews, CI/CD, and security
- Own code quality KPIs (defect density, coverage, technical debt) and lead initiatives to reduce technical debt
- Partner with DevOps on automation and performance
- Coach engineers, lead technical interviews, identify skill gaps, and drive upskilling
- Build a culture of quality and accountability
- Lead root-cause analysis for critical defects; support customer escalations and post-release fixes; ensure permanent fixes, not patches
- Drive architectural improvements,
control production defect leakage per release, and ensure 100% compliance with engineering standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or relevant.
- Maximum 10 years overall experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role
- Robust technical expertise in Python, Java, or similar technologies
- Proven experience in software architecture, system design, CI/CD, DevOps, and infrastructure
- Go-getter attitude with strong AI expertise and understanding
- Prior experience in Test Data Management, cybersecurity, or data security is a plus
