We are looking for an experienced AS400 Developer with strong expertise in RPG/ILE RPG development. Experience with Infor XA is an added advantage. The role will involve developing customizations and enhancements, gathering and analyzing requirements, developing solutions, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain AS400 applications using RPG, ILE RPG, CL, and SQL.
- Work on customizations and enhancements to meet client requirements in the Infor XA application.
- Gather and analyze business requirements and identify appropriate technical solutions.
- Design, code, modify, debug, and optimize AS400 programs.
- Develop and maintain database structures, file layouts, and related components.
- Perform unit testing and support system/integration testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Support deployment of completed developments to Test and Production environments.
- Provide post-go-live support, troubleshoot issues, and resolve application defects.
- Support data migration, system upgrades, and application enhancements.
- Prepare technical documentation and maintain coding and development standards.
- Collaborate with clients, business stakeholders,



and technical teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Recommend application improvements and enhancements based on business/user requirements.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field from a reputed institution.
- 3 to 8 years of experience in AS400/iSeries development.
- Strong hands-on experience with RPG and ILE RPG.
- Experience with CL/CLLE and SQL.
- Strong understanding of AS400 application development, debugging, testing, and deployment.
- Experience in requirements gathering, analysis, development, UAT support, and production support.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Positive written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Infor XA development experience is an added advantage.
- Experience in Infor XA customization/enhancement projects.
- Experience with AS400 data migration and system upgrade activities.
- AS400 or related technology certification is an added advantage.
