Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct IELTS and PTE training for individual and group batches.
- Train candidates in:
- Listening
- Reading
- Writing
- Speaking

- Conduct regular practice tests and mock exams.
- Check candidate performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide individual feedback and additional coaching where required.
- Help candidates improve grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and communication skills.
- Explain IELTS and PTE exam formats and test-taking strategies.
- Track candidate progress and maintain score records.
- Support candidates until they are ready to take the final examination.
- Coordinate with the recruitment and international mobility team regarding candidate requirements.

Candidate Score TargetThe trainer will be responsible for preparing candidates to achieve the following minimum scores:

- IELTS: 6.5+ overall
- PTE: 30+ overall

The trainer should regularly conduct mock tests and ensure candidates are progressing towards these targets.Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics or a related field preferred.
- 25 years of experience as an IELTS/PTE or English-language trainer.




- Positive knowledge of IELTS and PTE exam patterns and scoring.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Good teaching and communication skills.
- Ability to handle both individual and group training.
- Experience training candidates for overseas employment or migration will be an advantage.

PerformanceThe trainer will be evaluated based on:

- Candidate attendance and completion
- Improvement in mock-test scores
- Number of candidates achieving IELTS 6.5+ / PTE 30+
- Candidate performance and feedback
- Overall training quality

Preferred Candidates with experience training skilled workers, engineers, healthcare professionals, teachers and other professionals for overseas employment or migration will be preferred.
