Position: Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) Mathematics
Department: Academics
Reports To: Head of Department / Academic Coordinator

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and qualified TGT Mathematics Teacher to teach Mathematics at the secondary-school level. The teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, maintaining classroom discipline, and supporting students in achieving strong academic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver effective Mathematics lessons according to the prescribed curriculum.
- Teach concepts clearly using appropriate examples, activities, and teaching aids.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, question papers, and other academic resources.
- Conduct regular assessments, evaluate student performance, and provide constructive feedback.
- Identify learning gaps and provide remedial or enrichment support as required.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student progress.
- Encourage logical thinking, problem-solving, and application-based learning.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-disciplined classroom environment.




- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress when required.
- Participate in examinations, school events, staff meetings, workshops, and other academic activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to curriculum planning and academic development.
- Stay updated with effective Mathematics teaching methodologies and educational practices.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a relevant subject from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teacher-training qualification.
- Strong command of Mathematics and English communication.
- Prior teaching experience at the secondary-school level is preferred.
