Roles and Responsibilities :
- Design and develop 3D models of heavy machinery using CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks) for manufacturing purposes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet ASME standards and customer requirements.
- Create detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation for welding processes used in heavy engineering projects.
- Conduct quality control checks on designed components to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Job Requirements :
- 3-11 years of experience in a similar role within the industrial equipment/machinery industry.
- Proficiency in GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles and practices.
- Robust understanding of ASME codes and regulations related to heavy machinery design.
- Experience with drafting tools such as CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks).
